I recently finished up this shirt design for the awesome band Illustrations. The drawing was inspired by the story of Cato The Younger; a member of the ancient Roman Senate who disapproved with the rule of Julius Ceaser so much, the only honorable way he saw to escape it after failed attempts at protest and sabotage, was to end his own life. The band gave me a song they wanted me to base the concept around and the lyrics almost seemed to steer me into researching the story of Cato. Check Illustrations out. They’re a hardcore band hailing from Texas who will knock you on your ass with their passion and delivery.
